"Closer" is a song that was confirmed by Josef to be featured on the album. It was performed during his early shows, but had been redone to match the tone of the album. He recently performed the song at the Amsterdam Woods Festival on August 29, 2015. The song is about wanting to be with someone so bad, it hurts. But in stead of answering your feelings, the other person is being resistant. Whether the lyrics are based on one of Josef's previous relationships, we currently don't know.
